Scrumptious and Easy Banana Bread

Ingredients:

  • 6 ripe bananas
  • 1 Tsp vanilla essence
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup melted butter
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 3 cups all purpose flour

Directions:

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • In a large bowl, add in the bananas and mash them with a fork or a masher until they are soft yet slightly chunky. Add in the vanilla essence and eggs and beat well.
  • Add in the sugar and mix it well, then add in the butter and mix well again.
  • Add in the flour and baking soda gradually so as not to form any lumps and mix well. Pour this onto a loaf pan lined with baking paper and dusted with flour. Optionally, you can add some almonds to garnish.
  • Place it in the oven for 1 hour and 10 minutes. Insert a toothpick to check if it’s cooked or not.
  • Once it’s cooked, put it on a cooling rack to cool for 15 minutes. After it’s cooled down, cut it into multiple even slices and serve.
